I was driving through Yuma when I realized I needed to replace my tires immediately. I stopped by Pep Boys, and they really came through for me. The team was able to get me two tires at a great price and had them installed before closing time.
They were professional, efficient, and understood that I was just passing through and needed to get back on the road safely. I truly appreciate the fast service and fair pricing. Highly recommend this location if you’re ever in a pinch!

Had an appointment scheduled to have my air conditioning fixed at the Yuma, AZ location. Arrived on time only to be told that the air conditioning tech was not in today, but would be in tomorrow. I am going out of town at the end of the week and need it fixed today. I told them that they should really talk to there team about scheduling and was told that they have tried, but it doesn't work. I was also told that my appointment being canceled upon arrival was out of their hands. I should have been called this morning, they wasted my time. The only reason they are getting one star is the fact that they recommended another shop who is fixing the air conditioner and it will be ready tomorrow.

Came in for some new tires as I was out at the river and got a flat… technician couldn’t apparently find the leak and said the tire was holding air… so idk why they replaced it then and didn’t call and say it was ok… despite all that I was getting the tires anyways. No one showed me the work they did when they were done just handed me a receipt. They ended up telling me about my brake fluid which I didn’t come in for and so as I’m leaving Pep boys driving down the Main st.. my brake fluid cap goes flying off my hood……. Which then I had to pull off and run into the busy intersection looking for a cap that I didn’t even know was missing… what a disaster that would have been if I kept driving… ALSO one of my wheels is missing a weight?.. did they balance and align my tires?? Idk cause I didn’t get a briefing.. all and all not a pleasant experience
I get it too, it’s hot and end of the day but come on… pay these kids more or lower your prices on tires cause that was not a cheap experience for the level of service that I received.. not pleases at pep

Highway robbery!!! Idk if they heard a girl and were giving me the pink tax or what but they quoted me 500$ to charge an AC that takes 18g of refrigerant . Other shops in the area quoted me 100-150$ this location should be ashamed of themselves and I’ll be reporting this to corporate as I believe they tried to overcharge me bc I’m a woman OR they’re just blindly overcharging everyone which is also not okay

I brought in my 2009 BMW 128i into this location for multiple diagnostics, swapped out my starter, and changed out my power steering pump. Xander the pep boys worker is the man to go to if you need anything done all my car issues was resolved by him professionally.
