I’m visiting Yuma until the end of January and picked up a weeklong membership at 4th Avenue Gym – Foothills, and I’m so glad I did. This place is fantastic — clean, well-equipped, and welcoming. The staff are friendly, the washrooms are spotless, and the entire facility is run with care and pride.
I’ve trained at many gyms over the years, but what really stood out to me on my first visit was a staff member named Lisa. I watched her clean the gym equipment with more diligence and attention to detail than I’ve ever seen anywhere. No earbuds, no distractions — just nonstop effort to keep the place immaculate. I even stopped to thank her in person, because it was that remarkable.
To the owners or management: Lisa is a standout. She’s not just doing a job — she’s raising the bar. Give her a shout-out (and maybe a raise too).
Can’t say enough good things about this gym — a real gem for anyone staying in or near Yuma.

I’ve been a member of this place for years. It is very nice place to work out, people are very friendly and helpful. I like how the owners help the high school teams providing gym equipment for all the Yuma school gyms .Also, the special Olympic event is very kind of them supporting this event 💪💪💪💪

Update** I really appreciate the fact that Justin the owner of 4th Ave Gym took the time out of his day to call me to resolve the issue. I completely understand that sometimes things happens and we forget things. Overall my experience with 4th Ave Gym has been nothing but amazing. Justin calling just shows how much care about their members. Thank you again
I’ve had membership with this gym over 2 years and have never had issues. Love the gym. I’m in the process of moving to a different state cross country. I called at the beginning of the month to cancel my membership which they informed me needed to be done in person. I asked the employee over the phone if I had to do it by a certain date. He said no. I came in today on the 22nd to sign the paper and it specifically states that it needed to be done before the 15th or I would get charged for another month. I’m very irritated because I feel like I did my part and even looked on the website. Nothing on there states about canceling before the 15th. I would suggest to the owner to better train their employees and maybe put it on the website for clarification.

Hands down the best freakin gym I've ever had the privilege to work out in. I'm visiting my daughter and her family....and definitely didn't believe her when she told me how awesome it is. I'm flying out today and had to get in one more workout before leaving. Amazing staff, extremely spacious, Marine Corp clean, and top-notch equipment!!! It's definitely my new place to be when visiting Yuma!!

These folks are smart, They offer all sorts of memberships!
In our case we're in Yuma for only 2 weeks on assignment and needed a gym. #4thavegym sells 2 week family passes at a bargain price in light of the quality experience this gym offers.
4th Avenue gym we will honestly state is the top gym experience we've had, and this includes Mountainside Fitness (they dont have the variable memberships).
This facility is beyond top notch, with amenities like you've always dreamed of. Only thing not here is a pool and jacuzzi; oh well, no time for that anyway.
4 full areas of equipment and endless opportunities for everyone's idea of fitness.
Great friendly staff, and sanitizing staff on duty every time I visited. Props to the lady who tirelessly cleans equipment, thank you so much.
I'm proud to wear a 4th Avenue Gym shirt, really!
