FINALLY FOUND AN HONEST MECHANIC IN YUMA! I want to share my story. I was completely ripped off from a different auto shop in Foothills, AZ. I was referred to them because they work on older model cars. I took my car to them to diagnose my car specifically the engine and timing belts. It was sounding bad, smelling bad, running bad, etc. Almost $300 later, the "mechanic" insists that "everything is fine, there is nothing wrong with the car." A day later, I take the car to Jiffylube for an oil change, and they tell me the spark valve cover needs replacing and oil is all over the spark plugs! I asked them to please refer me to an honest mechanic, and they gave me ISAAC with GARCIA'S AUTOMOTIVE IN YUMA! What a God send!! Garcias' even waived their usual $100 diagnosis fee saying, I already paid enough, even though it was a different auto company who received my money. Wow, how awesome. Garcia's accurately diagnosed my car and fixed it perfectly. I needed new spark plugs, ignition wires, and spark gasket cover, plus another oil change. If you want an honest, awesome mechanic take your car to Garcia's Automtove in Yuma, AZ! From Isaac, the owner, to Guyaide, the front-office staff, their mechanics, everyone is super honest, professional, friendly, and amazing! Isaac even gives a one-year warranty on his service, I've never had a mechanic offer that. I'll definitely recommend and use Isaac and Garcia's Automotive & Tire Shop for ALL my future auto needs. Take my word for it, best shop in town let me tell you, I was uncertain before going to them when I read the reviews, mostly good ones don’t get me wrong, but a couple negative ones so I wasn’t sure, but hey doesn’t hurt to try, and I wanted to meet them myself and see how everything was before judging a book by the cover and not lettering a few negative reviews stop me, especially when I was hearing so many good things by word of mouth.
First time meeting them and every time after that they had the best customer service. They’re friendly polite and very professional. The owner is a really nice and very helpful as well as the secretary, his wife. They’re a very sweet couple, never rude or unprofessional, always friendly and considerate.
As far as their work goes, I’ve done all my vehicles with them this past year and every new vehicle we get we’re going to send them to Garcia’s. The shop is very efficient and doesn’t hold your car for long like other shops, they’re good at giving you a precise time frame or close estimate. As far as pricing they’re really affordable compared to other shops, I’d say best prices in town, they’re also competitive pricing and they’ll work with you to give you the best deals.
I sent all my family and friends to him and he’s taken very good care of everyone I sent him and fixed a lot of vehicles that other mechanics weren’t able to fix. He even fixed the BMWs which are very complex to work on and other shops charge an arm & leg, but Garcia’s charges very well affordable prices for foreign vehicles. They do not take advantage of people, they could be charging a lot more but they’re great deals and they like helping people and they’re more than fair.
I have no complaints whatsoever and I’m going to keep recommending them with out a doubt. Please don’t let a few negative reviews determine your decision to give them a try. Give them a shot, you won’t regret it, trust me you’ll be happy you did.

Cool guy, but it really felt like he was trying to get as much money out of me as possible. It didn’t seem like he was genuinely interested in fixing my car — more like upselling and pushing extra costs. Cool dude, but the overall experience felt more money-driven than service-driven.
They do offer towing services at a good price.

They had my sons car for over three months and didn’t even fix it they left wires hanging and always had an excuse of to why the car wouldn’t be ready. It was always next week or tomorrow. He’s very unprofessional. Please please save your money and time. This place is full of a bunch of scammers. Read the previous comments!!! We took the car in fine with transmission problems n picked up the car with the stereo and among other things not working. Plus he didn’t even have the car in the shop he brought from wherever else he had it……
